French Dip and Pie

I'll say this is the best view in the South Bay. Also, great to watch a game in the bar and still take in the amazing view.

This is like mecca for air travel dorks like me. I never get bored of going here. And now with the new Udvar Hazy wing out near Dulles Airport, there's even more to see.

Best place ever

Typical In-N-Out, but with the planes. Famous people spotted here, too. Drive through is super long, but moves fast.

Probably not the place for the big anniversary dinner, but a "must visit" if you hit the Waimea Canyon park.

This is the only hotel in downtown Manhattan Beach so it's easy walking to everything in downtown MB. The design is modern and there isn't any ocean views so it might not be what you're expecting for a "beach hotel", but the best place to stay in MB. Crazy Coyote Tacos is a great place to stop on the drive back to LA -- especially if you hit the Cabazon Outlets on the way. Tasty tacos and a photo-op with the dinosaurs! No indoor seating, though, so it could get pretty hot in June.

Good food, great wine choices and really fun ambiance, especially at the bar. This is a great choice for reasonably priced five-course lunch, and even better if you get the wine pairings.

I've had dinner here (while sitting at the bar, actually) and it was fabulous. Not nearly as fabulous as the drinks, though. The guys behind the bar here are serious mix masters and take a lot of pride in their drinks. Well worth a stop!
