Behind the Palazzo Pitti you can climb through the hilly Boboli Gardens. You get a great view of the city but stop looking for the Cafeteria, which might be described in your travel guide, it doesn't exist anymore.

This looks like you could blow on it and it would fall right over the edge. Interestingly, even though this is in Russia it's occupied by an Italian restaurant.

Rented an apartment here and had an AMAZING time. Food is amazing and the (rocky) beaches are gorgeous. Even saw the Australian water polo team cliff diving.

remind me to hit this place up when visiting East Europe.

We enjoyed walking the pedestrian only streets of this fairytale, walled city. Great sidewalk cares, cute shops and beautiful views from the wall.
