Somehow every time I've made this drive I've screwed up and ended up driving at night...and yet somehow it was still stunning. Not a ton of diversity in it (not like you'll be going through lots of towns or residential areas), but it's still gorgeous.
These are the largest ice caves in the world and attract thousands of visitors a year. In fact they're so crowded you should be prepared to wait up to an hour to get in.
Yes, this is one of those places you've heard about where everything is made of ice - the bar, the walls; they give you an eskimo jacket and gloves. It's a fun experience, but a quick one since it's so cold you won't stay for long.
This place is pretty cool...kinda sucks that it costs 20 bucks to get in...basically you go in a small room and get to drink vodka...you get a big coat and gloves...
