This restaurant was so cool. Steakhouse with amazing food and the decor was so fun and fabulous - the door handles are meat cleavers! Loved this dining experience!!!
I’m a pizza freak, and Tom Douglas does some of the country’s best here. Love the blistery, hand-made crusts, and the house-cured guanciale pie with baby arugula and two eggs (you gotta dunk the crust) is worth the airfare to Seattle alone.
Great place. There were so many lovley things to choose from my sister and I could not choose, so we got a dozen. When I was paying for them I asked the checkout girl if this came with some insulin and a paramedic!
Love Saturn. They've got vegan and vegetarian everything! I always loved visiting their Santa Cruz location, and I'm so glad that they opened up a spot in Berkeley so that I can get it closer to home.

I really wanted to go to Beast the last time I was in Portland, but couldn't make a reservation, so word to the wise -- make reservations in advance! I've heard the wonders of their food and bonus points that their prix fixe is really affordable.
There's a reason why this place can get away with having only one type of pizza a day, be opened 5 days a week only for several hours a day, and be on vacation all the time, yet still have ridiculous lines when they're open. One of the best Italian restaurants I've been to Stateside and several of my Italian friends agree with me! They make everything fresh and their lamb shank atop polenta is one of the best lamb dishes I've ever had. Braised to perfection.
