Really cool restaurant in a random location. Nice to combine with a trip up-country to the winery. The woman who runs the place is a legend in fresh to table cuisine. Expensive, but very good.
Pineapple Grill is dishing up great Pacific Island cuisine on the 18th hole of The Bay Course at Kapalua Resort. If you ask me, it's a hole in one (sorry, I had to do it).

I loved this hike, you and Story could do this hike pretty fast though, if you just do the first half and stop at the beach. To continue on, would add another hour to your hike, but then you see the waterfall, which was pretty magical. Otherwise an 1:15 there and same back. Thanks JR. We are staying in Hermosa Beach, so we'll make sure to check those two spots out. I've got my fingers crossed for nice weather so we can enjoy the beach.
If you make it down to hermosa and the weather is nice, I'd say rent a beach cruiser and take a cruise up the Strand. Stop for a drink along the way Poop Deck (old school dive bar) in Hermosa, Simmzys (gastro pub) in Manhattan Beach are two strong choices. I'll add those too so you have them.
