Tiger Kingdom is the most responsible tiger park in Thailand, the practice all the precautions that Tiger Temple neglects. If you want to help repopulate tigers into the wild and pet one in the process this is the spot to start.

Take the time to help a tiger and pet a cub.

This was the most rewarding experience we have ever had. a MUST MUST do. Please don't fall for those terrible excursions that have you view elephants doing tricks, etc. Patara rescues elephants and you spend the day actually caring for these incredible animals. You will not regret it.

This would be fun.

This is a nonprofit and during your stay there, you get to take care of a retired elephant assigned to you, so if you're an animal lover.... :)

Visitors to this bridge will need to take a cable car up to the top as it’s a full 2,000 feet above sea level.

It takes about an hour and a half to complete the tour here--make sure to bring a sweater as temps really drop when you reach the bottom. This, too is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

That's an awesome Bridge to nowhere.

See the long thing on the beach down there? That's actually a ship that was chased down by the Greek Navy after it was suspected that there was "wine, tobacco, and women" on board. Guess they thought this wasn't a good combo!

This place is really trying to do it all. I need to see this for myself. They have an underwater restaurant, a 3 person submarine to explore the islands, and an Ice Cream Spa for the kids. Get this..
